Our story
Built on a beach, broken by a bad night, rebuilt by two people who wouldn't quit.
It started with two pre-med students, Mubashir and Talha, watching a sunset and asking each other what it would take to build something of their own. No business degree, no capital, no industry contacts — just years of quietly organizing family gatherings and college functions, and the instinct that they could do this for real.
The first booking was a friend's daughter's birthday: two tables, a cover, balloons from a local shop. The first paying client, two months later, netted them PKR 1,000 after costs. They didn't care. They weren't chasing money yet — they were proving they could show up and deliver.
Then came the mistakes. A miscalculated venue that left half a booked space undecorated three hours before doors opened. A ticketed party built on borrowed confidence that sold 47 tickets against a breakeven of 500, and cost everything they had. The partnership that had grown around those ideas dissolved. Mubashir and Talha went back to their own lives — one to finish his degree, the other into finance — and the business, then called Premier Event Planner, went quiet.
But neither of them actually stopped. Working separately, each kept building — one client at a time, each event handled with more precision than the last — until the work outgrew what either of them could do alone. So they came back together, deliberately this time: no third parties, no shortcuts, just a clear division of labor and seven years of lessons neither of them had paid for cheaply.
That's the company you're looking at now, rebuilt and renamed De Evenement. The client from that very first bad night — the one who had every right to walk away — didn't. We've now delivered his event seven years running. That's the whole philosophy in one relationship: we don't just plan an event, we build the model for it first, then execute against that model until it's right.
What clients say
Feedback from the field
"As someone who covers events for a living, I don't say this lightly — De Evenement runs things with a level of polish and calm you don't often see. Everything felt considered, right down to the smallest detail."
Journalist
"We've been working with De Evenement for four years now — Talha and Mubashir have run everything from our first small activation through to KrewConnect and the Digital Trust Summit, and the standard has never once dropped. That kind of consistency is rare, and it's exactly why we keep coming back."
CEO, Unikrew Solutions
"We needed a team that could match the scale of our business without losing the personal touch, and that's exactly what we got. De Evenement handled our event from planning to execution without a single hiccup."
CEO, Karachi Steel Service
